These terms are a working outline. Binding terms, the cancellation and deposit matrix, and supplier agreements require review by Ghanaian counsel before launch (tracked in docs/DECISIONS.md). Live payment processing stays disabled until then.
Daazia operates a managed marketplace connecting customers with verified event-rental suppliers. Bookings, payments, refundable security deposits, cancellations, damage claims and payouts are governed by the policies shown at checkout for each booking.
Key principles that will carry into the final terms:
- Prices are shown in Ghana cedis (GH₵) with an itemized breakdown before payment.
- Refundable security deposits are held by the platform, never by suppliers, and are returned after pickup inspection unless a documented damage claim applies.
- Payments are processed by a licensed payment service provider; the platform never stores card numbers or mobile-money PINs.
- If a supplier cannot fulfil a confirmed booking, we arrange a comparable replacement or refund according to the recovery policy.
